How do I obtain a copy of my credit bureau report?
An amendment to the federal Fair Credit Report Act (FCRA) requires each of the nationwide consumer
reporting companies to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at
your request, once every 12 months. Detailed information regarding how and when you can
obtain your report can be found at www.annualcreditreport.com
, 877.322.8228, and Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281.
If you have received an adverse action letter, you may be entitled to receive a
free credit report from the reporting agency identified on the letter. You have
60 days from the date on the adverse action letter to request the report.
